Driving Instructor Chris Phillips.
Chris has spent most of his adult working life as an Outdoor Education teacher, specialising in leading groups of people in high risk environments.
Anything from kayaking extreme white water river rapids in the Alps, to leading remote mountaineering expeditions or exploring deep underground caves systems and abandoned mine workings.
It was a natural progression then for him to qualify as a driving instructor, allowing him to put his many years of risk assessing and teaching experience to good use, helping new drivers become full licence holders in a safe and supportive way.
In his spare time, Chris is either out riding his motorbike, paddle boarding on the local lakes, rivers and sea, or responding to the emergency pager as one of Conwy’s RNLI lifeboat volunteers.”
